回複：請問上移民法庭的後果是啥？

我一朋友去年B2身份來美，他的今年三月B2到期(although the visa is multiple entry, be valid until this September)，但他逾期未歸中國。昨天他本想去加拿大再返美國冒險獲得一張新的I-94，但不幸的是加拿大未讓他入境，但美國海關卻把他扣了起來，

給了他兩條路：一是遣送回國；二是上移民法庭。他選了上移民法庭，他們讓他交一萬美金的保釋費。

請問：
1） 這一萬美金的保釋費在他上庭後能退回給他嗎？
-Yes. It will be returned after the dependant attends the court or after the case is closed.

2） 上移民法庭的後果是啥（總共逾期 -If he loses the case, he will be requred to leave US within a certain period of time (normally, one month). If he wins, he can be permitted to stay in US legally.
He can choose to leave U.S. in the court.


3） 我是他來美的擔保人(my name is in his I-156 when he applied for B2 Visa)，他上庭對我有啥負麵影響？
