11 years are not long

I have been in the US for almost 13 years (including many years as a student in graduate school). Our green card application was just approved last week. I can feel your frustration. My wife felt exactly the same way many years ago when many of our friends were already getting their green cards. Be a little more patient and try to have peace at home which will certainly make the waiting a lot more tolerable and the card more worthwhile.You are almost at the end of the tunnel.
