1. I need to work in the company in US physically from time to time (though every time may be just several days to a week), and come back Canada to continue the work. In that case, do I need TN?
-Yes i the work occurs in U.S.

If so, do I need to claim it is part-time (hour based payment)?
-You can do that. talk to your employer about that. Part-time TN is OK based on immigration law.

2. Even with TN status, I still can work in Canada for the US company (they also pay). Is it correct
-Correct.
