是不是綠卡必須滿4年9個月才能開始申請公民？
-Yes.

我是綠卡今年六月底滿4年9個月。現在爸媽B-2在美國，是第二次入境，原定8月20號左右回國。現在正在糾結是否能有辦法讓他們呆在這裏等拿到綠卡後再走，因為以後簽證誰也難料。我在紐約州，估計最快沒有幾個月是辦不下來的。不知道有什麽好辦法想請教大家。
-Fine. After you get the US citizenship, you can sponsor their GC applicaiton. Their unlawful presence does not affect their GC application. So, don't worry. Many people did the same way and had no problem.
