關於入籍改名問題

今年已到了申請入籍的時間了。想在自己的名字前麵加個英文名字，是直接在N-400上改名就可以了，還是先到當地政府去改名，然後再填N-400表呢？
請熱心人幫忙回答一下。謝謝！
