我女兒是F1，現在讀大一，暑假她想申請校外與專業有關的工作，但要到6月18日才能知道是否錄用，如果錄用的話8月1日將要開始工作。現在的問題是：

1。OPT是否一定要拿到OFFER 後才能申請？
-She can not apply for OPT now, but apply for CPT (Curricular Practical Training). CPT application is not approved by USCIS, but the International Student Officer at her School. So, she just contact her school International Student Office for this issue. It is very simple procedure and can be done in a few days as long as your kid can get a job offer before she applys for the CPT. Anyway, contact her school for the information.

2。如果可以先申請的話，萬一申請批了但offer沒拿到，沒有工作，那opt時間算用了還是算沒有用？
-Working with CPT does not affect future OPT unless she works with CPT for more than one year continuously.

3。OPT申請一般需要多久才能批？
