懇請863211老師和皮匠老師幫忙：有關failed to maintain a lawful status

兩位老師，我剛剛看了USCIS有關245（k）的文章，發現裏麵對failed to maintain a lawful status and/or violated the Terms of a Nonimmigrant Visa 有這樣的論述:

Expiration, revocation or violation of status puts a nonimmigrant out of status, and the alien remains out of status until some adjudication restores status or the alien departs the United States.

我的問題是：假如一個F1，在申請OPT之前，不小心非法打工了一天，按照規定，這個F1應該就out of status 了，過了2個月後他的OPT 被批準了，那麽這個算不算some adjudication restores the F1 status? 如果算的話，那麽這個F1 out of status的天數就應該是應該是2個月對嗎？
