So, you had better apply for a new AP and travel again to keep your parolee status. Thus, if your I-485 is denied, you can file another new I-485 with the parolee status. Of course, if your spouse's status is h1, you do not need to use the AP. If your I-485 is denied, you can go outside US to get an H4 visa and then, file the new I-485.
But I still think your I-485 will be OK because you granted the parolee even if you used the expeired AP.
