回複：請問，關於婚姻綠卡的問題，以及USCIS與National Visa Center的區別

我現在是H1B身份，老公是綠卡（他估計還要再等1-2個月才能公民宣誓）。VISA BULLETIN顯示今年5月我就可以遞交485了（按照根綠卡持有者結婚的排期）。 最近NATIONAL VISA CENTER經常給我們寫信遞交一些文件以及填寫表格。下麵我有一些問題，希望863211老師及其他有經驗的朋友能幫忙解答。非常感謝！！

我現在不清楚這個USCIS 和NATIONAL VISA CENTER有什麽區別了？
-NVC is only responsible for the GC application using consular processing (get the immigration visa/GC outside U.S.). USCIS approve GC application (e.g. I-485) within U.S. So, I think soemthing is wrong/confused in your case becouse you are physically present in U.S. and plan to file I-485.

是不是NVC隻負責收取數據，最後還是由USCIS負責？

NVC的意思好像是按照他們的要求一步一步的遞交文件（剛寫了一個3032確認地址的表格，交了70塊手續費，估計下一步是交I864).
-You do not need to pay the I-864 filing fee ($70). My suggestion is that you need to contact NVC that you will file I-485 within U.S. and do not plan to using consular processing to get the immigratioin visa outside U.S. and ask NVC to stop processing your case.

Then, when the PD becomes current, you just directly file I-485 to USCIS based on your approved I-130.

可485不是應該交給USCIS CHICAGO LOCKBOX嗎？

我究竟是5/1號排期一到就可以把485及所有的文件郵寄到485指定的USCIS地址，還是需要一步一步按照NVC的要求做？


最讓我頭疼的是昨天去NVS讀文章，說到什麽CASE NUMBER開頭三個數字代表什麽使館地址？我的是LND開頭的，代表LONDON。不會到時候讓我去倫敦麵試什麽的吧？5555
