If you file is not in local office and PD is not current

If you file is not in local office and PD is not current, I think you will get nothing from infopass.

The best way is to wait for several days after PD becomes current, and if you have not yet got approval, call USCIS and request them to issues a Service Request regarding your pending case.

Service Request, according to my experience, is very efficient. My service request issued last week triggered a phone call from a USCIS supervisor to a local office IO, the local office IO was under big pressure and sent me 2 USPS mails in a single day, saying my case is being reviewed, both mails refer to the same service request ID.
