第一次聽說consular processing，惡補了一下，感覺不是一個好的Option，正在考慮是否應該放棄這個工作機會。

已經跟我的律師溝通了一下，我給他的信：
Now I have an opportunity to work for a small US　California startup company. I will be working on quality control. But this position requires me 90% of my time to travel and work in China。 I need to stay there and monitor the manufacturing process and quality. My questions is that: Will this situation endanger my 485 pending?

律師的回信：
- sound like you will work in a similar position as your current job, so you should be able to "port" your I-485 to the new company; however, you must make sure that your permanent work site (job opportunity) is in US, and you must be able to document that, i.e. employer's letter to back you up, continued US payroll record, etc.

現在我的問題是
1. 如何理解permanent work site (job opportunity)is in US？（這個公司US有質量部門，這個工作機會就屬於這個部門，不過需要經常或長期出差在中國生產廠家）
2. USCIS有明文規定不可離境太久或時間規定嗎？
