Just checked with HR, my I-94 will expire in August 2010.....almost had a heart attack!!
But HR did tell me that even if the prevailing wage is obtained instantly from DOL website, it is still subject to DOL's approval, which may take 2 months.
Is that true?
-Not true. Hire a lawyer to help you out. The HR does not know the immigration law well because it changes from time to time. After your extension petition is filed, you can continue your work (not need approval) even if your current I-94 expires.
