Ask Fa Ju Shi for H1B renew?

My I-140/I-485 (NIW) was concurrently filed in Jan. 2003 at TSC. I-140 was approved in Oct. 2003. Then there has been no information about my I485 any more, even without fingerprint so far. My first three-year H1B will expire in Jan. 2005. Do I need to renew my H1B for another three years (it costs about $1,200)? Or just renew my EAD (only $150)? If so, how much risk is there? Please give me your advice. Thanks a lot.
