a fee of $70 for the Affidavit of Support ??
-You do not need to pay the fee of $70 for the I-864 if your family is in US to file I-485. This fee will be paid to NVC if your family will get the immigration visa outside US.


This does not apply when the Affidavit of Support is filed abroad.
-This means if your family file Form I-864 outside US for the immigration visa application, they do not need to pay the fee. But if you file the I-864 within US for your family (they are outside US) to get the immigration visa outside US, you need to pay the fee to NVC.
