皮匠老師 is right.

You do not need the H4 approval notice which will be invalid after you leave U.S. and thus, it will be useless. Just bring your spouse's H1 approval notice for the h4 visa application and noone can tell your out of status for such few days. Even if they find it, it will not hurt you anything.
