The officer at the port suggested me to make a appointment and explain to CIS, otherwise my 485 could be denied.
-Technically, your I-485 may be affected. But the CBP officer still granted you the parolee status to enter U.S. and that may save your I-485 because he/her treated your AP as valid one (the officer may ban your entry or at least ask you to do deferred inspection after your entry based on the law). So, you may just wait and see as your lawyer suggested.
Then when I checked with our lawyer after I reached home, he said it's depending on the decision of final approval officer and no need to explain to CIS now. So which opinion I shall follow? What's the impact to my 485 application?
