what they reqested is basically what i had sent out.

- This is the least you could do.
While it may be the case that you thought you have sub-mitted requested document while it actually does not satisfy the requirement, like the birth certificate you mentioned below.

BTW, I was not granted a birth certificate in China when I was born in a rural area, should I send the copy and translation of my Chinese ID together with passport photo page??
