大家好！我的情況是這樣的：我持H-1b visa,將被公司於本月25日 laid off. 我於2周前申請了學校，獲得I-20,並申請了轉為F1 visa，已收到receipt. 今天麵試了一家公司，很有可能會給offer. 請問該公司可以給我辦h1-b transfer嗎？我可以馬上為他們工作嗎？期待您的答複，謝謝！
-Technically you can not work for the new employer until the H1 transfer approval becasue of the gap, but practially, you can work for the new employer after the h1 trasnfer is filed because actually USCIS can not tell such a short gap.

The problem for you is that if your h1 approval first, then the F1 approval later, your final status will be F1, and thus you need to change your F1 to h1 again. So, if it is this case, you may need to withdraw your F1 application or just go outside U.S. to get an H1 visa to come back after your H1 transfer approval.The gap will not hurt you because your I-94 is still valid and after the h1 trasnfer approval, this gap will be removed automatically.

If the F1 approval first and the h1 approval later, you are fine and nothing needed to do.
