AP process time

Does anyone know how long it will take for processing the AP? I sent the application on Feb. 10th, so far even the check is not cashed yet. I am in DC area, there was snow storm during that time. Will this be a reason for the delay? I sent it out by priority mail. will it be lost? I have to go back China ASAP. Any suggestions will be really appreciate. Thanks a lot
