86321:B1/B2 valid visa holder, do I still need to apply for H-4?

my situation: LD files I-485 in July 2007 (EB-2), now pending. I came back in July last year. (AP already expired). Last October, my company sent me to US on business trip and get B1/B2 visa for me, multi-entry, valid till October 2010.
Now that PD is close to be current, and I am thinking of going back to US this July to stay and wait for green card. Can I go by using the B1/B2 visa or do I have to apply for H-4 visa? what is the consequence if I overstay my B visa?
I used AP before and did not apply for AP before coming back last July. Thank you
