謝謝您的答複。但是我覺得我的情況並不特殊啊，我是在護照還有一年才到期的情況下出入境的，難道各位h1b都是在護照有效期比H1B有效期長才出境的？

護照有效期短的回來大家都重新申請H1B???

另外，整個過程我沒有犯任何錯誤啊？大使館一般不到一年是不給renew的，那時候我就算想renew也沒轍啊？
-You can file h1 extension within U.S. as long as your passport is valid (USCIS does not require the passport validity for at least 6 months for the status extension within U.S.).
