1) You are going to face the GC problem sooner or later even if you go back to F1. Besdies, your H1 status is about three years old, then you got only three years left if you start it all over again whne you finished your study and go back to work.
2) Your profession is not successful in GC application ? Do you know why ? Not meeting the prevailing dalary or what ? You need to make sure you know why. Because once you got your LC, this is no longer an issue unless you have bad records during your stay in US.
