Dear 863211,
I may misunderstood your previous answer to my job title issue.
Do you mean that if both job titles “Software Developer” and “Senior Software Engineer”from my new employer have the same salary and benefits, just use the same title as my old title in my previous employer (GC job title)? Then I should use Software Developer to file AC21 letter.
-Correct.
My new employer allows me to use both job titles “Software Developer” or “Senior Software Engineer” with the same salary and benefits.
However, my salary from new employer is much higher than my salary from my Green Card sponsoring company.
-As long as you get paid based on the prevail salary for your current job, you are fine even if the salary is lower than your old job.
