回複：比較特殊的情形，請問我是用EAD還是transfer H1b...？

我當前持有H1b工作，有效期還有近3年；同時485 pending 近2.5年。最近朋友想讓我幫他做一些part-time work；請問：

1)如果我想維持當前full-time工作，我該以何種身份去為朋友做part-time？ 如果用EAD，我當前的h1b就自動失效了；如果transfer當前h1b，可能就無法用一個h1b做兩份工作。

2）能否讓我朋友申請另外一個h1b，一個人可以同時使用兩個h1b嗎（一個fulltime，一個parttime）？

這樣對pending 485有何影響？

3）如果朋友的公司幫我申請一個parttime的h1b，以後如果我需要fulltime加入他的公司，需要重新申請新的h1b嗎？
-Yes, your friend needs to file a H1 amendment to change the part time h1 to full time or file a new full time h1 for you and the job has to be in the same/similar area so that your I-485 will not be affected.

或需要update那個parttime的h1b嗎？
