Dear 863211:
In filing for the Marriage green card, is it a good idea to attach all my change of status history in US with the I485 and I130? Like: I20, H1B1 approve notice, my pervious approved I140 notice, I485 receipt, and Tax history?
I know for sure I should attach EAD card and AP with the documents, but all the stuff above, Do I need them? Would it have negtive effect if I attach too many unnessacary documents?
-If you have been China and return to U.S. using H1 visa after your finished your F1 study, you do not need to provide the I-20s, otherwise, copy of the I-20 is required. All cpoies of the h1 approval notices or other status approval notice, I-94 cards, EAD cards, and the latest visa copy are required for I-485. The purpose of these documents are the evidences that you legally entered U.S. and maintained your legal status during you physically present in U.S. The copy of the latest three years returns are needed for I-130/I-864 filing.
