When there is a background checking, i still need to wait a long time, right?
-Case by case. Only a few cases of h1 application may be subject to background check, especially for some sensitive areas/majors, e.g. Chemistry, neclear physicis, etc. So, I do not think you need to worry too much. Even if you are checked, it may just delay your return, and finally you still can get the visa.
