綠卡, 回國工作限製問題?

請教各位: 現有一機會回中國工作. 綠卡身份(今年12月剛拿到). 如回國長期工作,聽說雇主可以向移民局申請豁免"每年在美居住至少6個月"限製. 請問這如何申請? 批複時間?
此外, 還有其它限製或需注意事項以免影響以後公民申請嗎?
