綠了，綠了！

來美12年多，終於拿到綠卡，和我同時來美的同學，朋友大多已成為公民。但我運氣不佳，苦等多年。今天拿到了卡，焦急的心早已麻木，沒有什麽激動。 潛水多年，從小白兔，pjiang and 863211 貼中學了很多，隻是想分享一下自己的經曆。

97年8月 F1和女友來美。
00年12月碩士畢業，在一家通訊公司工作 with EAD。
01年7月, H1-B visa approved
02年1月, submitted GC doc to HR.
My EB2 employment-based process:
Due to company layoff, PERM is submitted and approved at 7/2006. I-140 was approved sometime of 2007. I depleted 2 H1-B visa(6 years) in 2006 and renewed for the third H1-B.
GC process was withdrawed at 3/2008 when I left company.

03年5月老婆博士畢業，在學校工作.
04年7月老婆不願求人寫推薦信for EB1, filed labor certificate with EB2.
04年9月Labor certificate was approved.
04年10月我自己填了140和485 concurrent filing. My case was filed as derivative.
04年12月, USCIS sent letter noticed that appilcation was recieved.
06年10月 老婆綠卡批了。 Send inquirey to USCIS for my case, response is my case is in name check. Sending letter to senators, first lady, head of FBI etc. no results. I consider filing WOW but didn't pursue it since too much hessey.
08年10月, called USCIS and found that name check was passed. My case was current for several months but back to not current after USCIS reversed EB-2 Date.
09年8月, case is current again. Called USCIS and was told that no visa was available.
09年12月, USCIS email and text messaged me that GC was approved.

綠卡比八年抗戰還長。運氣，耐心都缺一不可。
