緊急請教各位大俠：
我的一個朋友回中國他們是EAD工卡，申請半年有效的AP回鄉證，
但是他們在旅遊時候不小心在北京把AP給丟了。
但是手裏還有剛剛=過期的上半年的舊AP回鄉證。
正在著急不知如何辦是好，
請問怎樣才能返回美國？？
用EAD工卡 和以前過期的AP及其 I-140可以返回美國而不被拒絕嗎？？
-No. The Chinese Customs officer will not him to go out of China if he has no a valid travel document or visa.

請問手續如何辦理？？
-Two possible choices here:
1. file I-824 to USCIS to ask a duplicate of the valid AP, and then use the duplicate AP to come back (this may takes a couple of months)
2. If he still has the photocopy of AP, just bring the copy of the approved AP to US Embassy/Consulate in China and request a Transportation Letter from the US Consualte. Then, your friend can use this Transportation Letter to come back.
