My situation: postodoc, H1B, I140 approved, 485 pending. just got EAD. will lose job soon.


After reading many of your previous post, you mentioned that:

1. Even I do not have a job after losing my current job, my status is still legal. Is my understanding correct?
-Correct, as long as your I-485 is pending.

2. Even I do not have the EAD, and do not have a job, as long as my 485 is pending, my status is still legal. Is my understanding correct?
-Correct.
