It should not be a big problem and I think USCIS know what you want to do even if you selected the wrong question item in the form. If USCIS have something unclear, they will send you RFE, not just deny your case. But you may contact them by phone, email,mail or visiting lcoal office to check your status if you have not heard anything from them for a while (e.g. > 3 months).
