We filed I-864 for my parent, yesterday we received a letter from NVC, it has a long checklist, and this one has a check mark before it:
[x] It appears that there is no proof of current employment (a recently dated job letter or pay stub), or
self-employment status (a recently dated letter on business letterhead or a business license).
Should we just pay attention to the item that with check mark? On the letter, it states as "pay specific attention to the marked item...", very confusing!
Should we just the employment proof only, or we need to a new I864? Because by ting the employment proof, the I-864 itself has nothing to change!
-If you have filed/sent the I-864 and paid the fee already, you do not need to file/send a new one again. Just provide the evidences proving your employment status such as recent 3-month paycheck stubs, employment verification letters from your employer, etc. and that will be enough.
Does anybody have the related experience, please help!!!!
Thank you very much!
