我可以跟係裏說生米已成熟飯，我必須從開始拿薪水嗎?

我的H-1B批準了。我8月初開始幹活，9月中學校開始辦H-1B，USCIS 10/29收到application package，11/2日批準H-1B。可是我現在仍然拿不到錢。因為係裏才開始辦理我的job application，說學校的領導可能不批，因為我的postdoc職位還沒有打廣告，學校的領導會有意見。A tier 2 international university 怎麽會這麽混亂？我可以跟係裏說生米已成熟飯，我必須從開始拿薪水，否則學校觸犯了移民法嗎？
