現在雇主sponsor的h1b明年九月到期六年, 現在處於140批準了, 485排期沒法遞的情況. 公司狀況很差, 有layoff的危險.

如果要另找工作, 還能重新申請perm麽?

應該怎麽應對?
-You can do H1 transfer, but you can not extend your h1 beyond 6 years using the approved I-140 if you change job. If you can still hang there until next year (April 2010), you can extend your h1 for another 3 years beyond the 6 year h1 limit, and then you can do H1 transfer to a new employer and that will be ideal.

Of course, if you can find a job now and do the H1 transfer, and then file PERM. Once the PERM is approved, file I-140 using Premium Processing to get it approved within 15 days. Then you can extend your H1 beyond the 6 year limit with your new employer before your current H1 expires.
