I assume that you filed this I-539 before you stopped working to avoid the status gap. As long as the receipt date is before June 30, you have no status gap.
Did you not make all of these statements in your original submission already? Change of status application is not just fill out one form, but you also have to write cover letter and attach evidence.
It is now November, can I also assume that your studies will be finished in a month? This will affect your options if you did have a status gap and thus this H1 to B1/2 COS is to be denied.
