回複：請問485 follow-to-join 的 timing 問題

請問如果付申請人是H-4，主申請人（H1b) 的485批準了，而付申請人的485還沒有遞上去，付申請人必須回國等待follow-to-join嗎？

現在排期還沒到，不能遞交付申請人的485， 我有點擔心排期一到485就批了，來不及遞交我的配偶的485，他又因為我綠卡拿到了，失去H-4身份，那時該怎末辦呢？回國等要一年多.
-I think you worry too much. Normally, if your PD is not current, USCIS are not going to approve your I-485. Even if your PD becomes current, USCIS may still not approve your I-485 and that is why you filed your I-485 some time ago, but you did not get it approved yet, and your PD become uncurrent again. So, when your PD becomes current, your spouse just file the I-485 and that is all.
