I have a pending I-485 with receipt#LIN-xx-xxx-xxxxx (Received date: 6/1/2007) based on an approved I-140 (EB2) with Receipt# EAC-xx-xxx-xxxxx with Priority day of 8/15/2005. Now, my school, xxx, has filed another I-140 (EB1b) with receipt # SRC-xx-xxx-xxxxx for me, which was approved by USCIS on 9/29/2009. Would you please kindly transfer my 2nd approved I-140 (#SRC- xx-xxx-xxxxx) to the above I-485 adjustment application #LIN-xx-xxx-xxxxx and my wife's I-485 #LIN-xx-xxx-xxxxx? Your help and support will be greatly appreciated.

10-5-2009,打電話要求Relink:
我一共為Relink打了三通電話。經驗總結是:打電話時,第一個接電話的一般是Customer Service,她們一般隻會給你讀一些你自己也知道的信息;然後問你要不要Service Request,你就甭跟她們多說(由她們file的Service Request 多半沒啥用,隻會收到一封千篇一律要求你再等6個月的Email),直接要求她們給你轉到Immigrant Officer那裏,接下來估計是要靠運氣了。碰到不nice的簽證官不要泄氣,也甭和他們羅嗦,說聲“謝謝”掛了再打唄。具體步驟如下:
撥1-800-375-5283, 1, 2, 1, enter your receipt #, 1, 3, 1, 這時會有customer representative 接電話,告訴她(一般都是女士)你有兩個I-140希望relink/transfer,如果她說她沒辦法或不行,你就告訴她,"According to USCIS Policy (memo of Micheael A. Pearson 5/9/2000), this is doable, if you won't able to help me on this matter, please kindly contact me to someone who can." 一般情況下,她們都會轉的。
10-6-2009,收到電話Relink的Confirmation Email:
“Your file has been requested and will be forwarded to a supervisor for review and assignment to an officer. We have no specific time frame as to how long this might take. If you do not receive a notice of action or other information on your case within six months from the date of this letter, please contact customer service to complete another service request.
If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.”
10-28-2009,收到Email: "Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident".
10-29-收到:USCIS 對我10-2-2009 Email Relink Request的回複:
"Good Afternoon,
USCIS electronic records indicate that on 6-1-07, our office received the Employment Based I-485 applications referenced in your e-mail below. As of 10-22-09, final adjudicative action had not been taken on those applications. Therefore, on 10-22-09, I sent those I-485 applications to a supervisory officer for review.
USCIS electronic records now reflect that yesterday, 10-28-09, our office approved the I-485 applications referenced in your e-mail below using 1st preference classifications and a 9-24-09, priority date. Please allow USCIS up to two weeks from today, 10-29-09, to produce and mail a Permanent Resident Card to both you and your spouse.
I hope that this information will be of assistance to you. At this time I am closing your inquiry on this matter.
Thank you.

從這封Email看來,可能是Email Relink 起來作用。或者本來就是Automatically Relinked!因為我的EB1b上的A#與I485上的是一致的。但打個電話發個Email總是比幹等強。
