My EB2 PD was current two years ago and then VB regressed before my 485 was approved. I had no choice but wait. I ended up filling EB-1a early this year and got approved pretty soon. If you believe you qualify for EB-1, maybe this is a better way to go. However, in your case, your PD is current, I am not sure it is still wise to file EB1. I wish all the best to you sooner, maybe it will be your Thanksgivings or Christmas gift, who knows?
