You can use the 485 RD to call USCIS to request a service inquiry, especially to verify the priority category and priority date of your case. You can also use uscis followup email to inquire on your case, to verify the priority class and priority date, and to push for a decision. See the following link

You can just ignore step 1. I find using the followup email is the most reliable way to communicate with USCIS.
I also checked many cases that were delayed several years. Most of them have multiple approved 140 petitions. Most likely, USCIS has mis-handled/mis-placed your case...
