父母有綠卡但在中國一年，回美有問題？

先謝謝了。父母有綠卡，於２００８年十月底回國，還有幾天就滿一年了。本來想常住在國內。所以沒有申請回美證。由於各種因素，突然想回美國，又不能立刻完全回，該怎麽辦呢？是讓他們趕在滿一年前先回來一趟，保住綠卡，還是放棄綠卡，以後再申請其他簽證過來？
