請教一個加拿大移民填表的難題

1。 朋友離過婚，現單身，填表時填的是離婚，並提供了ex-spouse的信息。
在表格：IMM5406 E -- additional family information --section A 中,因為現在是
單身,在spouse or common-law partner 一欄中填的是 N/A.

這張表要求簽字,摘錄原文:
NOTE 1: If no spouse or common-law partner is listed in Section A, read and
sign below.

I certify that I do not have a spouse or a common-law partner, ex-spouse, or
former common-law partner.

在list中,他現在的確是沒有spouse or common-law,而且填了 N/A按道理應該簽,但是,
在簽名保證的這句話中,又要求你確保沒有ex-spouse (I certify that I do not have
a ...... ex-spouse, or former common-law partner.).

但我朋友又有前妻,是否應該簽呢?不知道有沒有知道確切答案的朋友給指點一下

2. 在美國的Teaching assistant and research assistant算不算技術移民中的教學經驗。如果學要證明，是否讓學校的導師寫封證明信就行了。
