綠卡還是公民，到底有啥區別？

我的情況是：工作原因，經常要回國，這裏有房子，家庭，孩子，等等。

這個公民到底有啥特殊的地方嗎？

也不準備給家裏人申請移民，父母親年紀大，不想來，兄弟姐妹們，有想法但是也沒想來。

退休後肯定是要回國去養老。

以上種種，各位看看，我有什麽特別需要轉成公民的必要嗎？

不轉的話，將來有什麽不方便的嗎？
