and the stamp is as good as the real green card. What the officer quoted you was UP TO 1.5 years. They always quote the maximum time and in reality for most cases it is not nearly as bad.

Just watch for the green card in the mail - if all goes well you should receive it before mid October. No need to worry - it doesn't help anyway. Congratulations on your I-485 approval.
