Much shorter than I expected. The petition was submitted March 2001, approved August 2009. But I don't know how long a wait it is from approval.

Thanks for the last reply. But that doesn't sound right, because I do see whole family move to the US at the same time. It's not like the sister comes first, and the hu*****and and child have to wait for a few months/years to join her.
