renew AP，使用AP，還要renew EAD麽

我最近新renew 了AP， 我的律師說，我如果使用AP,就要renew EAD。
請問需要麽？我沒有要換工作的打算

她的郵件如下：

If you use the Advance Parole, then you should get the EAD. If you don't use the AP then you can just keep using the H-1B status for employment authorization.
