I-140 approved. I-485 > 180 days. have EAD. laid off. Status

I was in H1B. My I-140 (EB3) was approved this February. I filed my 485 at July 2007. I was laid off in the middle of July, >180 days. At the time of termination my previous employer state that:

To comply with USCIS regulations, we will soon inform USCIS of your termination. We very much hope this will not adversely affect your immigration situation, but we have been advised by counsel that it is necessary for us to contact USCIS about this"

I know that I am in AOS. However I am concerning that my former employer’s notification to USCIS will trigger the agency to send me a REF. Does any one know what the possibility of agency’s REF.

BTW, I now have two phone interviews next week and hopefully I will land a new job.
