yes IO want to keep your I94. but I don't understand why IO want your EAD card.
IO only ask Date of birth and name, and ask Y /N question to me. then ask what document I bring, I give her a lists. she want to keep the copy of joint account, and utility bills, and 4 pictures.
then give me the approve letter.
if IO only ask simple questions, it mean they trust you so they don't ask you more questions. sometime they approve you later. don't worry. but IO shouldn't collect your EAD. it means if IO refuse you, they won;t give your EAD back.but they will give you second chance for stroke interview. think positive, you will get it finally as long as the marriage is real, they don't have a reason to refuse you.
