Teach me, please

Hi,my friends in the city, please teach me.

My I-140 is approved and waiting for PD to submit I-485. I am thinking of F1 visa for my son instead of H4, as he can have SSN and working permit when he hold F1 visa. From Pjiang answer, I do not think he cannot have F1 Visa. However, he still can be a dependent with F1 visa and included in my I-485 petition when finally I can submit I-485 someday? The reason I am asking this question is that F1 visa in a non-immigration visa.My caoncern is here.
