My parents brought the original one but the VO didn't even look. I think it's probably fine if you just bring a copy. If they find any reason to reject, it's probably not because you bring a copy but not the original.

Although there are so many other important documents you wouldn't want to lose anyway, why not just put them all together so you won't lose it.

Just my 2 cents...
