I sent my transcript in the original sealed envelope. But for the work certificate, I used some notarized documents. But I think the important one is that from your boss in USA. In fact, they asked you to bring the updated reference letters in the interview.

I think you can ask some friends in China to help you to get the sealed transcripts. It's very easy.
